Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Saints were there to profit. Theo Wease, the No. 133 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Every board in the league had Monheim lower, and that gap is the story. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
