A costly weekend of dealing drags the Steelers to a C-.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Steelers started one anyway for Jamaree Caldwell, 101 picks ahead of schedule. The final tally is a middling C-.

The Paul Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
