The Bengals lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Gould at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. With interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
