You build a draft on nights like this. Mello Dotson had no business being available in No. 163, and the Seahawks did the only sane thing and turned in the card. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Reaching for Hawes left real value on the table behind him. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
