Nobody had Jeremy Moussa this high, and it is not close. The Patriots reached 270 spots to get him at pick No. 214. Put together, it is a D+.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Whatever Bo Nix becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

However the rest shakes out, Pearsall at that price is a win they earned.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
