More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B- to prove it.

The 49ers torched the value chart for Brian Ugwu, taking him 162 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

However the rest shakes out, Sauls at that price is a win they earned. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

In pick 11 they get a cornerstone up front, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
