The board owed the Seahawks one, and it paid up: Tykee Smith, the No. 97 name on the board, sitting there at the 118th pick like a gift left on the doorstep. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
