The Giants drew a line under the quarterback search with Ward: B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Giants did exactly that with Marcus Mbow in slot 157. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
