The Giants did not so much draft Ty Hamilton as overpay for him, 33 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. Getting Watts where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
