The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Texans watched Bhayshul Tuten slide 84 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The cost of the Nwankpa reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
