The 49ers robbed the room for Allar. Final grade: D-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Drew Allar at the 173rd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

Greene III has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

Spending an early pick on safety with tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
