The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Packers reached some 32 spots for Darius Robinson, and value like that does not grow back.

They banked enough surplus on Ford to cover a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
