The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Harden at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Adding Tariq Woolen by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
