Draft Grade — Cardinals

FutureB-
The Cardinals fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+. Whoever sat across the table from the Cardinals should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.
The Puni steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Jerry Jeudy deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick Analysis
Pick4
Rnd1
Marvin Harrison Jr.
Good price on Marvin Harrison Jr. in pick 4, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick27
Rnd1
Dallas Turner
In the 27th pick they get a problem off the edge at a price that makes it sweeter. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick35
Rnd2
Ennis Rakestraw Jr.
A straight-up fair deal on Ennis Rakestraw Jr. at the Round 2 slot, value and slot in agreement. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick71
Rnd3
Xavier Legette
They took Xavier Legette at par in slot 71, which is nothing to complain about. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick90
Rnd3
Michael Hall Jr.
Michael Hall Jr. is a better player than the 90th overall pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick105
Rnd4
Dominick Puni
The board had Dominick Puni higher than pick No. 105, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
