The Raiders won the night they stopped Gordon II from sliding. Grade: C-. Call it larceny. Ollie Gordon II sat on the board until Round 6, Pick 37, and the Raiders did not need to be asked twice. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C-.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Stutsman pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, cornerback and other spots still on the board.
They will need TeSlaa to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
