The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Chargers watched Ricky Pearsall slide 27 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting Holker proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
