A sensible, unshowy class lands the Bills a B-.

The needs board said one thing and the Bills did another, using pick 99 on Maason Smith while linebacker, offensive lineman and other spots waited.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. They will need Rosemy-Jacksaint to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
