Start where it matters. The Chargers took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Jefferson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. However the rest shakes out, Henderson at that price is a win they earned.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
