You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Bears did exactly that with Xavier Truss in No. 246.

Getting Warren where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
