The Seahawks won the night they stopped Thornton Jr. from sliding. Grade: B+.

Somebody in pick 212 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Seahawks sat still while Dont'e Thornton Jr., the No. 174 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Every board in the league had Ferguson lower, and that gap is the story. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
