There is reaching, and then there is Thor Griffith at the Round 7 slot. The Steelers jumped the board by 60 and dared it to prove them wrong. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

They banked enough surplus on Sanders to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
