The Colts put a flag in the ground for Jordan Magee, 71 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

Hunt at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
