The Bengals clearly saw something nobody else did in Josh Williams, taking him 61 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. About as rough as the board gets, and a F to prove it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

There is no soft landing here; this class has to massively overperform just to matter.
