The Packers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Barryn Sorrell at pick No. 251 regardless, 63 picks early. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

Howard at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
