The Packers cashed the board's mistake on Borregales: B. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Packers were there to profit. Andres Borregales, the No. 157 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 246.
They are betting Vinson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
The veteran additions, Asante Samuel Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
