There is reaching, and then there is Rylie Mills at No. 97. The Panthers jumped the board by 24 and dared it to prove them wrong. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
