No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Panthers.

Somebody in slot 240 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Panthers sat still while Tanner McLachlan, the No. 208 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The Mahogany pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. With linebacker, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
