A franchise passer in Maye headlines a B- weekend for the Patriots.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Every board in the league had Whittington lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
