The Patriots lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Every board in the league had Dumas-Johnson lower, and that gap is the story. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Nolen falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.
