More right than wrong for the Patriots, and a B- to prove it.

The tape said wait; the Patriots did not. Drew Kendall went at Round 7, Pick 22, a good 54 picks before the board was ready.

However the rest shakes out, Brooks at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
