The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Kenyon Sadiq slide 182 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
