A mixed bag for the Patriots, and a C+ to match.

The Phillip Webb selection is the head-turner. The Patriots reached 146 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Landing Higgins that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

Hit on Travis Hunter and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
