Larceny in pick 139 lands the Patriots a A, Cowing and all.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jacob Cowing got past him. The Patriots do not have to explain a thing at pick 139. Very little went wrong, and the A is earned.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
