The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. It washes out to a C-, no better and no worse.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. That Moore pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the real verdict is a season or two away.
