Somebody in the Round 3 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Patriots sat still while Jordan Morgan, the No. 34 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Clayton Tune gives the group a proven body among the projects. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
