They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Korey Foreman, 62 picks early at slot 156.

They have staked the next five years on J.J. McCarthy, which is the only story that really matters here. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

However the rest shakes out, Lloyd at that price is a win they earned. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
