Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB FutureC
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Ravens.

You can hear the double-takes from here. The Ravens took Kendall Milton at No. 251, roughly 105 spots before his name belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. That Sainristil pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick62 Rnd2 Chris Braswell
Chris Braswell in the 62nd overall pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick65 Rnd3 Ja'Lynn Polk
Ja'Lynn Polk slipping to No. 65 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. The roster fit checks out.
Pick67 Rnd3 Edgerrin Cooper
Edgerrin Cooper is a better player than pick 67 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick93 Rnd3 Cooper Beebe
They let Cooper Beebe come to them and pounced at the Round 3 slot. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick99 Rnd3 Mike Sainristil
The board fumbled Mike Sainristil all the way to the 99th pick, and they scooped it up. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick101 Rnd4 Tyler Davis
They did well to land Tyler Davis in pick No. 101, just ahead of his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick130 Rnd4 Cam Hart
Cam Hart at the 130th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick134 Rnd4 Justin Eboigbe
Nice patience on Justin Eboigbe, who had no business lasting to the Round 4 slot. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick162 Rnd5 LaDarius Henderson
By-the-book stuff, LaDarius Henderson at slot 162 squarely in line with his ranking. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick167 Rnd5 Jaylan Ford
A premium they did not need to pay, Jaylan Ford a notch or two before his time. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
Pick251 Rnd7 Kendall Milton
They talked themselves into Kendall Milton at pick 251, and the board did not agree. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
