The 49ers lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the 49ers started one anyway for Aydan White, 57 picks ahead of schedule.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. However the rest shakes out, Warren at that price is a win they earned. The 49ers paired the rookies with proven help, Ed Oliver leading the way.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
