When a board-topper like Nohl Williams slides to Round 7, Pick 7, you do not overthink it, and the Steelers did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
