Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jaylen Reed got past him. The Steelers do not have to explain a thing at the 225th pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The cost of the Alexander reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
