The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Every board in the league had Baker lower, and that gap is the story. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They banked enough surplus on Oladapo to cover a lot of smaller sins.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
