You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Patriots did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It lands right in the middle: a C, no more, no less.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Abrams-Draine steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
