A passer of the future in Maye, and a C-, for the Bears.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The Zinter pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They are betting Vidal proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

The Bears indulged a want in Solomon while a need in cornerback and linebacker stayed open. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In the end, one you will need a couple of seasons to truly judge.
