Grand theft in pick No. 165: the Chargers steal Raiola and grade out a B+. You could see the war room lean forward. Dylan Raiola at pick No. 165 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.
Reaching for Shelby left real value on the table behind him. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Chargers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
