The Patriots got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Patriots did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Landing Walker that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

They are betting Brown Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
