Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall D
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Ravens for Dixon: D.

Somebody took the Ravens to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The Dixon value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Every board in the league had Okie-Anoma lower, and that gap is the story.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.

Pick Analysis
Pick36 Rnd2 Kool-Aid McKinstry
A tidy bit of business in the Round 2 slot, where Kool-Aid McKinstry graded well above the range. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick47 Rnd2 Ladd McConkey
Ladd McConkey in pick No. 47 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick62 Rnd2 Kingsley Suamataia
They did well to land Kingsley Suamataia in Round 2, Pick 30, just ahead of his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick70 Rnd3 Patrick Paul
Fair-plus on Patrick Paul, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick90 Rnd3 Marshawn Kneeland
Marshawn Kneeland at No. 90 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick93 Rnd3 Trey Benson
No edge and no loss on Trey Benson in the 93rd overall pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick131 Rnd4 Fabien Lovett
A reach for Fabien Lovett in Round 4, Pick 31; a little patience would have been rewarded. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick134 Rnd4 Johnny Wilson
Nothing to complain about; Johnny Wilson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick164 Rnd5 Ty'Ron Hopper
Ty'Ron Hopper in the 164th overall pick is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick220 Rnd6 Jha'Quan Jackson
Jha'Quan Jackson at the 220th pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick226 Rnd7 Johnny Dixon
Johnny Dixon in pick 226 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick241 Rnd7 Matthew Jones
Matthew Jones at the Round 7 slot is a conviction pick that outran the value. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick248 Rnd7 Eyabi Okie-Anoma
A reach on Eyabi Okie-Anoma in No. 248; the board had better options right there. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
