There is reaching, and then there is Princewill Umanmielen at the Round 2 slot. The Patriots jumped the board by 32 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The Scott pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
