Best value of the weekend goes to the Cardinals for Polk: A-. The Cardinals did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ja'Lynn Polk fell into the 188th overall pick.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
They will need Weaver to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
