Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Marcus Epps deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
