Bech should have been long gone. The Cardinals pounced, and earned a B.

The Cardinals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jack Bech, the No. 65 name on the board, in pick No. 114.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The back end got a real overhaul.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
